Eric Otieno Sumba is a writer and editor with a background in sociology, political economy, postcolonial studies and art criticism. His recent editorial projects include Destination Tashkent: Experiences of Cinematic Internationalism (2024), and Echos der Bruderländer: Visionen und Illusionen, antiimperialistischer Solidarität (2024). Most recently, he curated (with Spazio Griot) the exhibition and supporting program Riverberi/Reverberations (2024) at Mattatoio in Rome. His texts have been published in Contemporary And, Africa is a Country, Lolwe, The Guardian, Griotmag, Frieze, Sleek, Monopol, Texte zur Kunst and Camera Austria, among others.
