Frank Seppeler

The film, television and theater actor Frank Seppeler was born in Berlin in 1968. Before graduating from the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst ‚Ernst Busch‘ Berlin in 1997, he worked as a theater painter at the Schaubühne Berlin. Some of his recent film and television productions include Phoenix, Unschuldig?!, Soko Leipzig Der böse Blick and 1.Mai – Das Ende vom Lied. In 1997-2001 he was an ensemble member at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater Berlin, 2003-2006 at the Deutsches Theater, 2009-2011 at the Schauspielhaus Zurich. He has worked with directors Dusan David Parizek, Nicolas Stemann, Barbara Frey, Heike M. Goetze and Milos Lolic, among others; he has made guest appearances at Wintergarten-Variete and Theater Bremen. The production Weihnachten bei Ivanos, in which he appeared in 1996, directed by Tom Kühnel and Robert Schuster, received the Friedrich Luft Prize. At the end of 2015 he also appeared at Theater Bremen in Gift. Eine Ehegeschichte (director: Samuel Weiss).
