After his training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art in Berlin, Hendrik Arnst, who was born in Weimar, played in theaters in Anklam, Aachen and Mannheim before finally moving to Berlin’s Volksbühne with Frank Castorf, with whom he had already been working since Anklam, where he was a member of the regular ensemble for 14 years. He has also appeared in numerous cinema and TV productions. Whether Tatort, Polizeiruf 110 or cinema productions such as Peter Bogdanovich’s Cat’s Meow – the list of directors he has worked with is long: Andreas Kleinert, Sönke Wortmann, Stephen Daldry, Carlo Rola, Rainer Kaufmann – to name but a few. He has lived in Berlin with short interruptions since 1966.
