Jan Walter was born in Trier in 1984. Studied media and cultural studies in Düsseldorf and Alicante as well as acting at the Berlin University of the Arts. Subsequent appearances at the Maxim Gorki Theater, the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the UNI.T Theater of the Berlin University of the Arts, among others. Own directorial work at Les Halles Düsseldorf and at the Altes Postamt Neukölln. Engaged as narrator for audio books and radio as well as in various film productions. 1st ensemble prize at the 22nd Theatertreffen of German-speaking acting students 2011, Hamburg. Since the season 12/13 Jan Walter is ensemble member of the Landestheater Niederösterreich.
