Jowan Safadi is a Palestinian singer, songwriter and founder of the experimental project Lenses, the grunge band Fish Samak and the electronic duo AboJar. He had his solo breakthrough in 2008 with his fuzzy electro rock sound. In Jordan, he was indicted and arrested on charges of blasphemy for his song Poor Infidels.
