Juliette Achieng Omolo danced for five years in modern dance before venturing out on her own in African dance and contemporary dance. She uses traditional African dance steps to expand her own dance style. Juliette participated in several dance workshops and learned from many artists. During the three-year workshop Generations 2000 of the company Gaara, directed by Opiyo Okach, she was trained in contemporary dance. In the project Dance Into Space with Mathew Ondiege she got insight into dance theater. She has also worked with various artists from Russia, Sweden and South Africa.
