Leonie Brüggenwerth is fluent in French, German and English. She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and is an artist.
Before studying architecture, Leonie developed her creative skills in film set design and developed her flair for visual storytelling. She completed her architecture studies with a Masters at the Glasgow School of Art. Her curiosity and desire to explore new perspectives led her to expand her original focus on design, structure and sustainability to include set design as part of her practice.
Her Guadeloupean, French and German backgrounds, as well as her diverse professional experiences, shape her understanding of the importance of diversity in creative work.
Leonie Brüggenwerth designed her first set at Ballhaus Naunynstraße in 2024, for the production of akademie der autodidakten Kraftwandler*innen.
