Sagal Farah focuses on geopoetics in the interplay between built environments, flora, fauna, and the sonic. Her practice is rooted in language and writing, but extends to diverse forms such as installations featuring personal and public archive material, image creation, and sound. At Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, she developed together with artist Lerato Shadi the exhibition Staircase of Memory (2024) as part of the Festival Black Berlin Black – United Polyphonic.
