Shachar Werechson, born in 1982, studied at the Mosrara School of Art and Photography in Jerusalem. Today he works as a freelance stage and lighting designer, programmer and technician, and has so far demonstrated his professional skills in over one hundred productions of various genres (dance, theater, concerts, art exhibitions). His latest projects in the theater field include Matinee at the Gerar Behard Center in Jerusalem (2008, directed by Tzvika Fishzon). The Imposter and Twenty Five at the Acco Theater at the 2010 Acco Fringe Festival in Israel. For Michael Ronen he worked as lighting designer on Romeo and Juliette at The lab Theater in Jerusalem (2010) and on Warten auf Adam Spielmann (2010) and Perikızı (2011) at Ballhaus Naunynstraße.
