Maisaroh is a writer and performer. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theatre studies from Institut Seni Indonesia, Yogyakarta, and a master’s degree from Freie Universität Berlin. Her writings are published online among others by Asian Feminist Studio Art and Research and also presented at Antiracist Student Conference 2022 at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. In 2022 together with the collective Soydivision she performed in Aryati at Uferstudios-Berlin, in Kiamat at Haus der Indonesischen Kulturen-Berlin, and in TANAMANTRA at Waisenhausplatz, Pforzheim.
