Uwe Preuss, born 1961 in Dresden, childhood in Sao Paulo, Brazil, since 1984 in Berlin.

Studied acting at the Hochschule der Künste. From 1995-2002 member of the Berliner Ensemble. Since then freelance for theater, TV and cinema. Since 2007 also active as a director.
