With these convincing words, the jury of the German Dance Award justified their decision to honor Raphael Hillebrand for his outstanding achievements in contemporary dance as part of the German Dance Award 2020. The award ceremony took part October 17, 2020 in Essen, Germany.

Due to this special occasion, the dancer shows his current personal biographic play „Auf meinen Schultern“ from October 27 – October 30, 2020. The play has been produced at Ballhaus Naunynstraße and had it’s premiere September 2019.
