Guillaume Cailleau’s works range from film to installations and videos to performance. They have been shown at various film festivals (including Berlinale, Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, Views from the Avantgarde NYFF, Rotterdam Film Festival) and exhibition spaces (including Centre Pompidou in Paris, Royal Ontario Museum Toronto, Haus der Kulturen der Welt Berlin). Cailleau is interested in revealing what is happening right next to the obvious. In doing so, he enjoys exploring the boundaries of moving images in collaboration with other filmmakers, musicians, graphic artists, painters, scientists, theater professionals, children, etc… Guillaume Cailleau is part of the artist collective LaborBerlin and Hanna’s Atelier for Sonorous Arts in Ljubljana. In theater he works as a video artist, often in team with Benjamin Krieg and Hanna Slak.
