Sandrine Micossé-Aikins is an art scholar who has been working on anti-discrimination and diversity in the cultural field for over 10 years. Together with Sharon Otoo, she published the anthology „The Little Book of Big Visions – How to be an Artist and Revolutionize the World“ in 2012. Since 2017, Sandrine Micossé-Aikins has headed the Berlin-based conceptualization and advisory office Diversity Arts Culture and in this capacity advises, among others, the Senate Department for Culture and Europe on diversification and anti-discrimination in the arts and culture. In 2023, she published her dissertation entitled „People of the Comb – Contemporary Hair Politics in Ghana.“
