Right at the front - a meeting of Black people in leadership positions
Networking meeting
We have achieved a lot. Black people hold leadership positions in numerous areas in Germany. They curate exhibitions, manage cultural institutions, bear responsibility in politics, set priorities at universities or act as entrepreneurs.
Nevertheless, management levels still do not reflect the composition of society. And those who have decided to take on leadership roles often act alone. Double exposure seems to be part of everyday working life. How do you deal with it, how do you assert yourself? What experiences have been gained? What has the change of position done to you? What expectations are placed on you? What expectations do you have of yourself and your colleagues? What do you need?
Ballhaus Naunynstraße invites Black people in leadership positions to share their experiences and take part in a public discussion. After all, much of the knowledge gathered here is likely to be helpful for others – for colleagues, for those who are in the starting blocks, for those who need further perspectives, for the next generation.
Because we want to go much further.
