The month of May is characterized by the Decolonial Frequencies festival, curated by meLê yamomo, which started in 2021. He opens the month together with Pepe Dayaw and their sound performance Echoing Europe – Postcolonial Reverberations. In it, they re-arrange the European colonial history of music. The performance can be seen on May 6 & 7 at 8pm.

At the end of the month, meLê yamomo and Eurico Ferreira Mathias enter our stage again with Eigenschwinungen – Forces of Overtones on May 27 and May 28 (as part of the Performing Arts Festival). The lecture-concert had its premiere in November 2021.
