TRVΛNIΛ is a multilingual poet, performer and social worker. Her affinity for writing helps her to express her inner chaos and reflect on the societies she lives in by exploring and playing with notions of identity, vulnerability and sexuality. She is also, together with Kondo Heller and Candice Nembhard, co-founder of Poet & Prophetess, a transnational and multidisciplinary collective that aims to redefine the boundaries of poetry by combining it with theater, film, live sound and radio.
At Ballhaus Naunynstraße, she performed for the first time as part of Permanente Beunruhigung – internationales Performancefestival (2018); in 2019, she presented her first solo performance in the series An Object is an Object is What? and her portrait performance TRVΛNIΛ has been part of the repertoire since 2019. In the same year, she created the music for Bishop Black’s performance Becoming My Body. At the Spoke Word event Even At The Risk (2022) as part of the Black Berlin Black – Widerstand festival, she presented a whole series of her own texts.
