Veronika Gerhard

Veronika Gerhard is an artist and curator living and working in Berlin. She completed the Master of Arts in Visual Culture Studies at the UdK with Katharina Sieverding in Berlin and studied visual arts and experimental film at Carnegie Mellon University and the Filmmakers School in Pittsburgh, USA. Veronika was a fellow of the Education Project of Documenta 11 under the artistic direction of Okwui Enwezor, Sarat Maharaj and Ute Meta-Bauer and Artist in Residence of the Cité des Arts International in Paris. She initiated and participated in numerous art, film and theater projects between art, theory and politics. In June 2017, Veronika Gerhard received the Julie and August Bebel Prize for innovative political education.
